The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro builds up on Xiaomi’s massively successful Redmi Note line, offering everything that made this lineup a first-choice in the budget segment in India. The Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 4 and currently the Redmi Note 5 Pro offer so much value for their price, it almost feels wrong to call them budget devices. Xiaomi even had to raise the price of the Redmi Note 5 Pro in India to account for rising costs, but the device still managed to continue selling like hot cakes.
Xiaomi is all set to repeat this, as the Chinese OEM has announced the launch of the Redmi Note 6 Pro in India, scheduled for 22nd November 2018.
The new Note rises on 22.11.2018.

The Redmi Note 6 Pro has already been announced in China in late September 2018, so the device will not entirely be a surprise. The Redmi Note 6 Pro in India will likely retain all major features of the device launched in China, though we cannot rule out on smaller variations between the two regions. This means that the Note 6 Pro will likely sport the same 6.26″ display with a notch (as the media invitation clearly shows off), the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, dual camera systems on both the front and the back, and the 4,000 mAh non-removable battery. The phone is also expected to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, and the micro-USB port (which will definitely be a downside for this device going into 2019).
The Redmi Note 6 Pro does seem to be an incremental upgrade over the Redmi Note 5 Pro based on the product launched in China. We hope Xiaomi either brings in some more upgrades to help the device stand out in the crowded Indian budget segment, or launches it with an extremely competitive price tag.
